A dry pull up night

Well, got Mom transferred over to Dad last night up in Jacksonville. It was a long ride. B came along for company, but of course my kid who doesn’t sleep, slept the whole way. What do ya know?! We arrived home right before midnight. Nicholas had been asleep for about 20 minutes. I put a pull up on him and we all went to bed. This morning, he just woke up at 8 and it’s dry! Woo hoo! That’s progress. Since I don’t expect to see that happen too often in these early days, I felt the need to blog it.

Oh and in other news, Baby Brinley has a middle name. Elisabeth. She’s got a name from each parent and from what I gleaned from my convo with Lis yesterday, all is good and they were heading home. Brin likes to eat and has a great yell when it’s dinnertime. I can’t believe I have to wait another 4 weeks to see her.

Welcome Baby Brinley!

To paraphrase Little B (who I guess is now just B since we have a new Little B) “At last! She’s here!” Meet my new niece, Brinley Sampson. Isn’t she absolutely amazing!! 9 lbs 7 oz and perfectly perfect! I certainly love my girls and she is just too cute to resist. I can’t believe my little Finn is a big brother. Must head out tonight to buy more stuff for the box going out this week. Then the countdown begins to when I can actually get to meet her and cuddle and tell her all the stuff her Mom doesn’t want me to. She was born at 3:17 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. All is good with both Mama and Baby. Middle name is yet to be decided. Here’s the latest pic as well.
