Keep your eyes out…

Nicholas has fallen in LOVE with the Thomas the train bed I happened to see online. They had a few on craigslist a few weeks back, but it looks like they’ve all been sold. So I’m asking for you all to keep your eyes out for the Little Tikes Thomas the Tank Engine bed. We would like to spend around $100 but less would be great too. If it’s even remotely in pickup range, we’ll figure out how to pick it up. Nicholas just about freaked out when he saw the picture and now all I hear is “Choo choo train for night night. See Choo Choo train bed for night night.” Apparently it has tracks built into the sides of the bed so his trains could be played with on the sides. I’m on a mission!!

Woo Hoo!

Finally! We got renters on the house. How awesome is that?!? They move in on Friday, so we’re off to clean up the house a bit tonight (it’s probably dusty.) Then we must get the piano out sometime this weekend or earlier. Oy! Lots to do, lots to do.

Do you ever wonder…

if your kids are trying to kill you through sleep deprivation? Really, now. Tim is taking his turn upstairs with our two offspring attempting to lure them to sleep. I’ve been up there for an hour or so. We left them alone up there for a half hour. Our kids have inherited my genetics that give them the special skill of requiring little sleep. Awesome when you’re in college. Not so cool for Mommy who just wants an hour where she’s not being asked for something. I would post pictures, but that would involve me getting them off my camera right now and I’m awaiting the yell to tag in. Wrestlers have nothing on us. We’re fearless… if a little sleepy.

Nick and Becca

This was from a few weeks ago, but I got a page done with it tonight. Nicholas loves playing with Becca in the morning. He’s so excited to get to their house and see her.

Lunchtime

I haven’t given up eating as a whole, I just can’t seem to be hungry at lunch. So I’ve taken to doing scrapbook pages then I have lunch while Nicholas eats his snack when he comes home. It doesn’t hurt that I can eat an entire meal in under 2 minutes (thanks kids, great training!) So today during lunch, I made another Nicholas page.

Countdown
Tomorrow’s the big day. I really hope Tim is able to get some pictures of Isabella so I can post them. She is beyond excited about the race although a bit apprehensive since there will be 1st and 2nd graders in her group. I just hope she doesn’t get upset by not coming in first. I’m not saying it’s not possible, because who knows, maybe the whole race thing will light a fire under her toesies. So, cross your fingers and I’ll have more news tomorrow evening.
